On August 24, 2023, the semi-finals of the 10th China Hunan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for the New Materials Industry were held in Dong'an, Yongzhou. The competition is themed "Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Fulfilling Dreams in Hunan" and is jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial Department of Education, Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Provincial Department of Finance, Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Provincial Party Committee Cyberspace Administration, Provincial Youth League Committee, and Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce.
